Lynn Ward is an author whose pro novel Bloodline was published by Zumaya Otherworlds in 2011.
Ward was also a convention staffer who worked at many Texas conventions in the 1970s and 1980s, including Trekkon '83 and Trekkon '84 in San Antonio, Texas.
Synopsis of Bloodline
Lauren Pell is chief of security for the Terran station located on Krhyllan, a planet wracked by ancient feuds and hatreds. When the king's young son Deran is attacked by savage assassins, the feared Blood Painters, Lauren fights, schemes, defies, and does whatever it takes to rescue the him.
Convinced that she had previously failed to save the life of her own child, she is determined to save this one - even if it means revealing secrets that endangers Krhyllan itself.
