LOVE WITH THE PROPER VULCAN, by M.J. Merica, was perhaps my least favorite story in the zine because it made me uncomfortable. The writing here Is excellent, but the methods the author goes through to get her characters together are somewhat questionable. [1]

Neither Kirk nor his fellow captain-friend Handly, know how to approach their respective first officers with their love. What better way to resolve that dilemma than by getting stone drunk and then tell their Vulcans about their love in a roundabout way. Cute. [2]
