Lost in a Lost World is a gen or het Battlestar Galactica by Christopher Laird Simmons. It appeared first in The Adama Journal #13.
Summary: "Starbuck is sent to investigate a mysterious signal, ends up wrecked on a world with only two living inhabitants: a young girl, the daughter of a family wrecked there many years ago, and a secretive dwarf who has also been marooned on this lost world. Starbuck and his two companions must unravel the cause of mutual shipwrecks, and end up having to fend off a protective gang of killer machines (not the Cylons, though). Starbuck must also decide whether to fend off the tempting affections of the young woman. The story takes place after the episode 'The Hand of God.'" [1]
