Lost Davy is a gen 96-page novel by Sheila Paulson. Cover and interior art by Sandy Schreiber
Summary from the publisher, "In the Catskills there was a legend of a boy who had disappeared, then returned as a ghost, trying to lure the unwary into joining him so he wouldn't be so terribly lonely. This story was used to frighten children into behaving; as a delightfully scary story to be told around a camp fire while roasting marshmallows. Some believed the stories. Most did not. But, one cold, wet night the Real Ghostbusters found that the legend was far, far more than that."
