LindseyFic was a Yahoo group. It grew quickly in its first months after being formed at the end of 2000. Its peak month for messages was February 2004 with 238, likely due to news being released about the impending cancellation of the series. New fiction continued being posted through 2011, but from 2009 onwards the main posts being made were recurring updates from the makebelieve archive, a multifandom site sending out a new additions digest.
Although the LindseyFic was founded for fic posts, many of the posts involved conversation about the Angel series, the actor Christian Kane, or discussions about fanfiction.
The list changed owners several times, the final owner being peja who was also active on Dreamwidth until 2013.
As of 2019, it had 311 members. The group had a connected website http://www.geocities.com/lindseyfic/ on Geocities, unfortunately not archived.

I started this list cause some of the many lists I'm on are getting crazy with rules and such. I understand the need for order, but having to remember the rules for each list is getting very confusing.

Has anyone else here ever wondered exactly how voluntary Lindsey's employment with Wolfram and Hart was? We've seen how they got Angel on board. Don't ask me to believe they haven't gotten other people on board as well. And I have no doubt that, should Angel have left before Origins, they'd have sent Conner right back to how he was at the endof season 4 or worse. Anybody else think that they held more over Lindsey's head than just "we'll kill you if you don't cooperate"?
