Life is the Fire in Which We Burn is another post S02 Wo Fat kidnapping fic, but it starts out when Steve is still a kid. It’s a series of snapshots showing how Steve got from losing his family and losing Hawai’i to getting back to Hawai’i and getting a new family. I’m going to stop describing Kristen999’s writing as well written because really, it’s redundant to keep saying it, but I really enjoy how she deals with the emotions, especially with the repeated emotions of loss that Steve experiences throughout his life, and him realising that he has a family again with Five-0.[1]
