Lab Rats was a Disney XD live-action teen superhero sitcom focusing on a family of six, primarily the four teenagers, Leo Dooley and Adam, Bree, and Chase Davenport, as well as parents Donald Davenport and Tasha Davenport. The show later introduced Adam, Bree, and Chase's previously-secret brothers, Marcus and Daniel, and their birth father, Douglas, who joined the main cast. It exists in a close shared universe with Mighty Med and they had a shared spinoff, Lab Rats: Elite Force.

According to a screengrab, an author called LabRatsWhore posted to AO3 upset with antis in regard to a ship they may have written about. The post discussed how certain entities came to be, and involved DNA, which could mean upset at potential incest was afoot. In their post, they also discuss having received Death Threats over their ships/works.
