Incest
The subject of whether or not Brase should be considered incest has been a heavy topic in some spaces. Due to their being genetically engineered, some interpet the two as not being biologically related,[2] while others believe they must have both been created using Douglas Davenport's DNA.[3] Some people ship it regardless of incestuous possibilities.[4] One Fanfiction.net user made a fic post with the summary "if you ship Brase you deserve to die," which has follow-up chapters accusing specific authors of crimes such as pedophilia and necrophilia.[5]
