Kyoko Kirigiri & Shuichi Saihara is a common gen (combi in Japanese) relationship within the Dangan Ronpa fandom. The ship is between Kyoko Kirigiri and Shuichi Saihara. It has been shipped since Dangan Ronpa V3: Killing Harmony was released in 2017.
The ship came about when it was revealed that Saihara's talent, something most Dangan Ronpa characters have, was revealed to be in being a detective, which is also's Kirigiri's talent. Fanworks may involve Kirigiri being his mom or his tutor. In canon, they do not interact. Although they are both around 17 in their respective games, it's implied Kirigiri may be several years older by the time of DRv3.
Kirigiri Kyoko/Saihara Shuichi is less common. Both versions of the ship may both be labelled as "Saigiri."
