Kit Tanthalos/Jade Claymore, also known by the portmanteau Tanthamore, is the canonical femslash ship between Kit Tanthalos and Jade Claymore from the Willow TV series.
Canon
The pairing of Kit/Jade in show managed to portray a relatively slow burn development (as slow as a single series can be), even after the characters kissed in the opening episode. While their mutual pining was apparent to multiple other characters and commented on — especially by Boorman — the two continued to deny their feelings for each other.
In episode five, under the influence of 'truth plums', Jade told Kit that she had been in love with her for a long time. Kit admitted she returned those feelings and encouraged Jade to kiss her. They were interrupted by a troll kidnapping Kit before they could embrace.
After rescuing Kit and continuing on the quest, Jade and Kit had their next romantic moment in episode seven, when Kit reiterated that she loved Jade and they finally got their second kiss.
Fandom
The pairing in-canon fell into the trope of "princess and her knight", a trope that is rare in media with a sapphic pairing. This combined with the relationship following a childhood friends to lovers arc, and the pining, slow burn, and moments of angst between the characters quickly drew fans to the pairing.
