Kion is the main protagonist of The Lion Guard, the spinoff show set in the universe of The Lion King.

His storyline is defined by his fear of turning evil like Scar.
He was absent from Simba's Pride due to journeying to the Tree of Life to heal a mental and physical wound left by Scar.
Fandom
His integration into fans' personal headcanons will be influenced by whether they include other aspects of lore established in The Lion Guard. If they don't, the mark on his front leg will often be a much more believable birthmark, or something to that affect. Some will just ignore his mark altogether.
