Kristina Busse is a long-time fan and an academic working on fan works and fan cultures. She is one of the founding editors of the OTW's international peer-reviewed, Open Access academic journal Transformative Works and Cultures. She is also co-editor of Fan Fiction and Fan Communities in the Age of the Internet. She blogs occasionally at ephemeral traces and more often at the collective media studies blog Antenna. Kristina stood as a candidate for the OTW Board of Directors in the 2016 elections and was elected, along with Priscilla del Cima, to fill one of the two available Board seats.
