He was the founder of 1. Sailor Moon Online Fanclub in deutscher Sprache (SMOF) (First German language Sailor Moon fan club) in 1997, one of the first German speaking anime related clubs.
In 2000 he was part of a group of people who founded the non-proft organisaation Animexx e.V., which was founded when many members of the original SMOF club found their interests had shifted and decided a new organization for fans of all kinds of anime and manga sources was needed. Johann Weber served as first chairman of the organisation.[1]
He was an active part in the organisation and in building the online presence and fanworks archive Animexx.de.
He was also one of the organsiers of the Connichi convention. [2]
He died aged 26 in 2006.[3]
His death touched many people in the German animanga fandom and fanartis Viviane created a condolence image featuring Animexx mascot Aiko. (Link)
