Jenny Han is an American author of primarily young adult fiction novels, including the best-selling The Summer I Turned Pretty and To All the Boys I've Loved Before trilogies which have been adapted into television and film series.
Relationship with Fandom
Han is a big fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and ships Buffy/Angel.[1] Han has also revealed she ships Rachel/Joey from Friends.[2]
Jenny has been actively involved in her own online community of fans since the early-mid 2000s, posting to her now defunct blog on LiveJournal and later Tumblr. As of 2023, Han mainly communicates with her fans via TikTok and Instagram. During the second season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, Han frequently reposted fan reactions and fanvids from TikTok on her Stories.
