Jean-Baptiste Augustin, generally referred to as Baptiste, is a playable character from Overwatch, a first-person shooter game by Blizzard Entertainment.
Canon
Baptiste was one of the many children orphaned by the Omnic Crisis. He enlisted in the Caribbean Coalition, becoming a combat medic. After completing his service, he joined the mercenary group Talon, using his earnings to set up a clinic in his hometown. His unit's orders became increasingly brutal, resulting in civilian casualties, so he left Talon. But Baptiste knew too much, so Talon sent people after him. Baptiste continues to travel the world, aiding in humanitarian efforts and staying under the radar.[1]
Baptiste knows Sombra and has worked with Angela Ziegler.[2]
