Iterative Processing is a Star Wars sequel trilogy fanfiction written by Splintered_Star.

Told from the POV of Hux, this story begins with the end of the First Order and his suicide. Hux is then stuck in a body hopping, time loop as the Force tries to teach him a lesson. This work is also notable for its worldbuilding, using a large cast of OCs to portray ordinary citizens of the galaxy and the realities of living in the Republic and the Outer Rim.

(here’s a secret: you died, General. You wanted it to be the end, but it wasn’t.)
Hux, surrounded by the ruins of the Order, decides to die rather than be captured. Then – he wakes up on Hosnian Prime, hours before its destruction by Starkiller. And that’s only the start of his troubles.
(here’s another secret: this is a /lesson/, General. Are you /listening/?)

This work was followed by a sequel, Superposition in January 2018.

Reactions and Reviews

OMG read Superposition by Splintered_Star

or rather, read Iterative Processing by Splintered_Star first and then read Superposition. This is how you redeem villains, and this is why you redeem villains too.[1]

seriously, if you like time loops, some serious character development and quality writing, you have to give it a try![2]
