It's Like This Old Inuvit Story I Knew is a Fraser/Kowalski story by rageprufrock.
Summary: Thursday morning, Ray woke up with a Mountie sitting at the foot of his bed.
Reactions and Reviews
"I can't believe that you wouldn't already know," the Mountie said, frowning. "You needn't play coy with me, young man, after all, the dead are beyond caring." A pause. "Or at least, beyond the ability to inflict blunt head trauma." What's better than DeadBob!? DeadBob! talking to Ray, driving him crazy *g*. Fun, quirky and you feel so very sorry for Ray, having to endure Bob Fraser's ghost on a regular, mindbending basis.
rageprufrock is a fabulously talented writer. This is the only story she's written in the Due South fandom, and it's wonderful. Fraser's father, dead!Bob, is stalking Ray. He's trying to play Cupid in his own demented way, but Ray's too busy freaking out about the dead guy who keeps showing up to give any serious thought to the "queer" thing. [2]
Hysterical, hysterical lines (worth it for Ray's Fraser translation alone), and ridiculously fun.[3]
