While Stede is off attending a fancy party with Edward Teach, Frenchie and Oluwande, Lucius stays on the Revenge. He refuses to scrape barnacles from the side of the ship, deciding to sketch Fang naked instead. Izzy tries to bully him into compliance but is foiled by information that Lucius learned from Fan. Their personalities clash, and Izzy provides the perfect counter to Pete's enthusiasm and optimism. Izzy is focused on getting work done, while Lucius fits with the Muppet-esque scenarios that they find themselves in. Edward is no longer dealing with others who understand, but newcomers to the game, like Lucius and Stede Bonnet.
