This is what happens in the "mirror universe" in the episode "Plato's Stepchildren". Well researched and good use of actual dialogue and situation, but I'm not certain using the mirror universe was all that necessary. The Empire characters are not fully defined, nebulous in their moral character, not evil, not that good, either. They do not seem identifiable as mirror universe denizens, so the story might have been stronger if the setting had been the original universe. But, that aside, this is a fun, sexy story as those nasty Platonians stage an orgy using our intrepid crew. Very good characterization of Alexander and clear writing when using many characters at once. Nice touch of Spock and Kirk becoming willing from unwilling partners. [1]
