Ionisphere is a science fiction fan magazine started in the mid-1980s and lasting for fifteen issues, then resurrected in 2017 by its editor, John Thiel. It was the official publication of the Fan-Pro Coordinating Bureau and was resurrected for the same purpose. Its title is an intentional misspelling of Ionosphere, done to distinguish it from the scientific term. The editor is also currently doing a fanzine called Synergy for the National Fantasy Fan Federation's amateur press association, N'APA.

He also does a fanzine for efanzines.com called The Pdf Dragon.
