Inception is a quarterly ezine newsletter focusing on the writings of Storm Constantine's Wraeththu universe. The ezine contained fanfiction, fanart, essays and news about the book series. From 2001 to 2006 the zine was published as an online ezine with approximately 17 issues. In 2007, the zine switched to a blog with periodic updates. The last archived blog entry is dated July 23rd, 2010 by wdarling.

In later years the zine also focused on what it called :"half goth/dark/magic/SF/art."

From the about page: "The Inception web site started as the latest incarnation of Storm Constantine’s “information service,” which was at one time a print zine as well as a web site. In September 2001, Wendy Darling volunteered to take on the position of site producer. Thanks to the awesome support of countless contributors, we’ve kept the zine alive for years and years with no budget, only lots of enthusaism.

Writes Storm, “Inception was always run by and for the fans, and we don’t want to lose this tradition.”

From 2001 to 2006, Inception was for the most part published quarterly. All those past editions are still available online!

Sadly, due to life events, Wendy just couldn’t keep up with it. She knew she had to work out a way to keep it going, so when she came across WordPress she realized there’d be a way to move it to be a year-round zine run as a blog. Much more convenient for her, more material for everyone else to enjoy, all year round."
