I Love Lucy is a television show based around comedy of errors along with family and friendship. The show is considered iconic, and hugely influential within the comedy genre.
Lucy is the goofy leading lady who, without fail, makes mistakes that turn her ambitions on their head. Her husband, Ricky, is most often used as a straight man to balance out her loose and clumsy ways. They have a child together, as well as two close friends who live in the same apartment building for most of the show.
A clip of I Love Lucy was once featured in an episode of The Nanny, though the rights to show such a clip may have come into question as this is frequently edited out of the episode.
