Reactions and Reviews
Ah, this is more like it! Kirk comes across the mirror Spock, nude, in his bed while in their universe. But that Spock thinks he’s talking to his own Kirk and demands what is his right from his lover. Spock forces a kiss, and almost forces more. But Kirk manages to get away without giving anything away...literally. Once back in his own universe, he remembers the kiss. More importantly, he wants one from his own Spock. Now that he knows that their counterparts are lovers, it makes his own situation harder to bear. That is, until he catches Spock looking at him and he recognizes the look. It’s the same one the mirror Spock gave him, and Kirk’s heart fills with joy. Spock loves him. He decides to use the same situation that had unbalanced him on Spock. He calls the Vulcan to his cabin where he waits on his bed, nude. He’s not disappointed. And neither is the reader.[1]
