Homestuck Day or also widely known as 4/13 happens on April 13 of any given year, and is the day that the webcomic Homestuck was first published, and is also, in canon, the birthday of two of the main characters John Egbert and Jane Crocker. That day is generally used as an excuse for celebration, much like a holiday, in the Homestuck fandom. Posting fanworks, especially fanart is very common. Some groups also do special reading or streaming events. For fanworks and fanart, some of them may be themed around John Egbert or Jane Crocker's birthday, or may be more general in theme.
