Home to Roost is a slash 112-page Garrison's Gorillas novel written by EPS. The cover is by C.R. Casey, and interior art is by Jean Sheward.
Author's Summary
"The mission in Switzerland to retrieve the industrial diamonds ( Episode:The War Diamonds) has left Garrison seriously injured and the Gorillas stood down, though that does not guarantee their safety.
Meanwhile, Germany's top spy-catcher has obtained a lead on the team that has pulled off the series of astonishing intelligence coups across Europe over the last two years.
But the demands of friendship and family are about to catch up with both Garrison and Actor, in the midst of the most exacting mission of their lives."
Author's Notes
"First published as a stand-alone [[fanzine in 1999.
My thanks to Pamela Dale, whose idea for Garrison's background I quite shamelessly stole, but who hasn't complained;
Thanks to C.J. Ueberall, for translating idiomatic English into German at incredible speed. Any mistakes – and I know of one or two where I should have checked with her and didn't – are entirely from my pen!
Pamela (again) and (mainly) Inamac for proof-reading and the latter for saving me from at least horrendous error ("Isn't he dead?")"
Reactions and Reviews
Why I don't know there is a translated version! I read this with dictionary! [1] But the original contained all your brilliant thoughts about Garrison, Actor and their relationship. You interpreted the complexed feelings under their faces very well! Sometimes I would believe that this story is true.
Thank you for writing this! [2]
