Holistic is a term used in the Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency fandom to describe any character with psychic abilities or other superhuman powers, especially those previously held by Project Blackwing.

In the 2016 TV series, only three of these characters identify themselves as holistic: Dirk Gently, holistic detective; Bart Curlish, holistic assassin; and Mona Wilder, holistic actress. This is partially because other characters, such as The Rowdy 3, do not appear to have abilities based in the "interconnectedness of all things." However, because most dislike being called "psychics" or anything beginning with super-, fans have taken to using "holistics" as a broad term for all applicable characters.

Amanda Brotzman is referred to by some fans as a "holistic witch" or "holistic witchakookoo." Because her visions connect her to the "backstage of reality," this is arguably compliant with the original definition.
