High Reaches Weyr was a Dragonriders of Pern roleplay fanclub set on the Northern Continent during 9th Pass.
Since "High Reaches Weyr" was one of the canon locations Anne McCaffrey permitted fans to use in their fanworks, there have been a number of fanclubs with the same name.
The 9th Pass version was active in 1993, when an issue of Out of the Blue included it on a list of fanclubs. It published a clubzine called Seven Spindles and may have been associated with High Reaches Weyr (10th Pass).
From a 1991 ad in For Your Information #9 talks about a "High Reaches Weyr" that was associated with Beth Baldwin:
A Dragonriders of Pern Fan Club. Create the Pernese persona you've always wanted. Quarterly newsletter, THE GRAND ILLUSION includes all member fiction, non-fiction, art and misc. Membership includes 4 issues of the newsletter, the Weyr annual, discounts on all Weyr publications, and lots more.
