Definition
Hetsmut is a conjoined term used to distinguish smut that features heterosexual relationships from other forms of smut, and distinguishes fic with het sans sexual relationships from those that focus entirely on it. It appears to be an older term, and was a category for awards in the Golden Orgasms fanfiction awards for Star Trek fandom.[1]
Usage
- And then came Harry Potter. No het, het was bad. Het smut was hot. But het was baaad.[2]
