hermione_ginny, previously HermioneGinny, is a Harry Potter Yahoo! Groups mailing list for fanworks and discussion about the Hermione/Ginny pairing.

Though the group is still online, there have not been new posts since July 2009.

History

The group was started by Tasha Miller, who also founded the Hermione Ginny FanFic Archive as an archive for the HermioneGinny list. The archive was only updated through 2003 and did not host stories posted to the new hermione_ginny list.

hermione_ginny was started on December 22, 2003, after the original group, HermioneGinny, was deleted by Yahoo!. The new group was put in the "Adult" section of Yahoo! Groups to prevent re-deletion. The group's membership is open and does not require approval but messages from new members are moderated.

In May 2009, Tasha posted to the list looking for a new moderator for the community. It does not appear that a new mod was found, and the group has remained inactive since July 2009.
