Hello! Project is the umbrella name for female J-Pop idols under contract with the Up-Front Group. H!P has a small femslash RPF fandom. Most fannish activity does not revolve around fanfiction, though other transformative works such as fan art remain more common. Through the 2010s, much of the fandom's activities took place on message boards and forums, though the Western fanbase has mostly moved to social media platforms such as Twitter and Tumblr.
