Here's one of those great looks at K/S through someone else's eyes. A least we see it in part from McCoy's point of view as he quizzes Kirk about his new relationship with Spock. This is at the close of STTMP. McCoy thinks Kirk looks 10 years younger because he's in love. And boy, he did look good! I remember that, so my mind easily makes the connection.Seeing their eyes lock as Spock crosses the Rec Room to join them, McCoy wonders if a bystander could be fried if they got caught in that hot gaze. Wow!
It's OK that McCoy doesn't remain in the picture for too long, as this is nothing if not an extended love scene: tender, exciting and hot! Heart-pounding intensity and unquestioning love. Really inspiring! Did I mention HOT? [1]
