Hbomberguy is a leftist video essayist and YouTuber who creates videos centred around video games and other types of media. He is commonly associated with BreadTube, although, like several other YouTubers associated with the term, he has rejected and expressed confusion about it.[1]

In December 2023, hbomberguy posted Plagiarism and You(Tube), a four-hour-long video essay focusing largely on James Somerton's plagiarism of countless queer writers, YouTubers, and other creators.[1] Somerton's plagiarism was not common knowledge prior to hbomberguy's video, which kicked off the James Somerton Plagiarism Scandal.
