BreadTube is a loose label applied to left-wing YouTubers and the communities they inhabit. Sometimes BreadTube refers to several specific YouTubers who often collaborate and/or share similar styles, and sometimes it is used to describe left-wing YouTubers more generally. The term has been embraced by some but not all whom it is applied to.
BreadTubers
As mentioned, "BreadTube" can be used to apply to either the entirety of left-wing YouTube or a select few creators. These are some of the creators that it is most often applied to:

- PhilosophyTube
- HBomberguy
- Kat Blaque
- Lindsay Ellis
- Shaun
- HasanAbi
Controversy
As with most online groupings based in politics, BreadTubers and their fans are no strangers to controversy. Discourse has popped up surrounding, among other things: the popularity of white BreadTubers compared to their non-white comrades; the dangers of getting fannishly attached to figures known for their politics; and the efficacy of the community for actually deradicalizing right-wingers. Several creators who are often called BreadTubers have rejected or otherwise expressed discontent with the label.
