Summaries
From Agent With Style:
This novel begins in canon, at the point where Buffy has discovered, and dispatched, all of Spike's newly-Turned fledging vampires in the cellar he was holed up in, but from there, it diverges into a new tale of love and growth and rebirth, not just between Buffy and Spike, but including all the Scoobies. But without the annoying Potential teeny-boppers. This novel shows how a Slayer and a Vampire with a soul can come together in love, and become One in order to defeat the First Evil. Because, Evil? Not so good.
From a 2013 eBay seller:
This story begins at the end of the Buffy season seven episode “Sleeper”—Spike’s fledgling vampires in the cellar. Everything that preceded that episode in canon is accepted as fact and frequently referenced. From then on, it is AU (Alternate Universe) with no Potentials, Andrew or Giles. It does have Scoobies who are allowed to learn from their mistakes and grow up; Dawn who is able to express emotions other than anger; a Buffy who finds the courage to examine and then follow her heart; and a Spike who finds the courage to believe in her and in himself. There is lots and lots of sex.
