The Harry Potter Rare Pairs Fuh-Q Fest was a 2003 Harry Potter Fuh-Q Fest for fanfiction that "focus on lesser known pairings in the Harry Potter fandom, both slash and het."[1] It was run by the HP_Rarepairs mailing list.
The fest was started in late May or early June 2003.[2] The original deadline for the First Wave of the fest was June 30, 2003,[3] though this was later pushed back to July 15. The description for the HP_Rarepairs Yahoo! group stated:
- "We are currently having the First Wave of the Rare Pairs Fuh-Q Fest, which will run through July 15. All pairings and rules can be found in our files section. Grab a pairing and start writing!"[4]
It does not appear that there was ever a Second Wave of the fest, as the above notice remained on the Yahoo! group through at least March 2005.[4]
