Gorefield is a horror meme, mostly fanart, based on the Garfield comics, in which Garfield is some sort of eldritch abomination. It began with Dubblebaby's "Hungry" comic, posted in 2013. Memes, art, and sometimes other content are shared on /r/imsorryjon. Since then the meme has expanded to other childhood icons, shared on the same subreddit during non-Garfield Saturdays and on /r/imsorryeveryone during the rest of the week.
