Reactions and Reviews

This is a peculiar alternate universe story. Here Kirk is a riverboat gambler who gets tossed overboard. He struggles to survive swimming in the river and is eventually rescued by a dark haired, lean man from a houseboat.

Kirk is grateful. He easily asks, "What do I owe you for your timely rescue?" as he opens his sodden wallet.

But this unknown man named Spock asks not for money but for something far more precious. "You know... Imelda's?..That is what I want from you."

The gambler took a half step back, mouth open in surprise.

..."Damn! I should have kept my wet clothing on! I should have stayed in the river!"

Of course Spock ends up having his way, and the gambler Kirk discovers "What terrible...pleasure." I find it a strange little story because it really is just sex for sex's sake, with almost no personal interaction at all. Just two guys who meet and decide to screw. [1] [2]
