An acronym popularized in the ontd_startrek community on LiveJournal following the release of Star Trek (AOS), GQMF stands for GQ motherfucker: a gorgeous, talented, kick-ass, all-around awesome humanoid being who would not look out of place on the cover of GQ magazine. GQMF, or the shortened GQ, is also used as an adjective. Specifically,

• Any character in the new Star Trek movie
• Any castmember in the new Star Trek movie
• Any castmember in Star Trek: The Original Series
• Any character or castmember in the Star Trek franchise.
• Any member of ontd_startrek
