Reactions and Reviews
Jennifer Baxter wrote “Friends” in which she examines how Kirk and Spock got to the point in STII where Spock is Captain of the Enterprise and Kirk is attempting to find solace in antiques and paperwork. She takes us back to the beginning of their love and the very bumpy road that brought them to Starfleet Headquarters and their present assignments. This is a sad story, with somewhat veiled optimism for the future. But of course, Kahn has not yet reappeared.[1]
