Firebringer is an original comedy musical created by Team StarKid. It follows a tribe of prehistoric humans and their invention of fire. It is StarKid's first show with a female protagonist. The show is available for licensing and also has an all-ages version that cuts out some language.[1]

The book was written by Nick Lang, Matt Lang, and Brian Holden while the music and lyrics were written by Meredith Stepein and Mark Swiderski.[2] The show ran from July 6 to August 7, 2016 at Stage 773 in Chicago, IL.

The announcement about a new StarKid production was made with the YouTube video StarKid Announcement Stardate 1.1.16 AD on January 1, 2016. It was funded through Kickstarter and raised $154,670.[3]

Fandom

A clip of the song "We've Got Work To Do" became a meme.[4] It was parodied by the cast of The Book of Mormon.

Shipping

The main ship in the fandom is Jemilla/Zazzalil (called Cavewives, Jazzalil, or Peacebringer) which is canon.
