FictionPress is an original fiction archive of stories and poems. It is a sister site of FanFiction.net.

FictionPress was split of from FanFiction.net in February 2003. Stories in FanFiction.net's original fiction categories were automatically migrated to FictionPress.[1] However, some authors still try to circumvent the system by writing original fiction and publishing it on FFN as if it were fanfic, using categories that do not match the plot and/or characters of the same.[citation needed]
