Eyecon is a Star Trek and science fiction convention that never happened.

And from the world of fandom, there is both good news and bad news. . . . EQUICON 74 in spite of being a great con, had some problems. A few issues ago in S-B we printed a little article about EYECON. Well, EYECON was cancelled but the people running EYECON thought that they were being smart. They told those people who had paid their money for EYECON that the money was turned over to the EQUICON 74 committee. Well it wasn't. People who wish to obtain a refund if they joined EYECON should write the chairman, Clyde Johnson [address redacted] Roubidoux CA 9250S phone [redacted]. If you do not get your money back, write the EQUICON 74 committee, Box 23127, Los Angeles, CA 90023 for aid in getting together a suit against fraudulent tactics. It's about time that all of these conventions which cheat their members are taken care of. Fans should start to be more discriminate, and not just send money to just anything labeled "STAR TREK".
