This is a future fic, where Fraser and Ray's granddaughter discovers Fraser's trunk, with some of his personal effects and letters from Ray to Fraser after he returned to Chicago post-COTW. Caroline didn't know her grandfather, and is discovering him and his relationship with Ray for the first time. I love this because it gives Ray and Fraser this wonderful life after the show, where they get married and have kids, but it wasn't an easy road. Simple and beautiful.[1]
