Ethan Chandler is a main character on the show Penny Dreadful.
Canon
Ethan first appears as a member of a travelling sharp shooter show. He is recruited by Vanessa Ives to use his skills on a mission into the dark underside of Victorian London. Ethan agrees to this mission and as a result gets pulled into Vanessa's search for her lost friend Mina and the supernatural events surrounding her disappearance. In the last episode of Season 1, it's revealed that he is a werewolf although it was hinted at earlier in the season.
