An entertainment review is a work, usually comedic in nature, which criticizes another work, while attempting to be entertaining in its own right. The entertainment factor may be derived from the critic's reactions to the work they are criticizing (especially if they are overreacting), or from sketches within the work. One type of entertainment review, the "angry review" (in which humor is derived from the critic's angry reactions to a bad piece of media), experienced a great deal of popularity in the late 2000s and the early 2010s.
