Eileen Mitchell was a Star Trek: TOS fan. She was an editor on the Soulmates (Star Trek: TOS zine) from 1991-2001. She passed away in 2002.
In 2002, her co-editor wrote: "I’m sure all the folks out there will be sorry to hear that Eileen Mitchell passed away October 9th this year. She was sixty-five and had been ill for a very long time. I knew here for many years, becoming good friends in more recent years. She enjoyed Star Trek in all its many forms and attended several conventions until she became too ill to do so. Under the name Erato she wrote many stories and poetry. And as is know was the other half of Soulmates. I have lost a dear and valued friend and K/S has lost a good storyteller." [1]

Reviews and Responses
We also have a guest poet this issue. A new writer from across the great sea, with a breath of England to add to our enjoyment. Please welcome -- Erato. We hope to see her ability in a story sometime, (hint-hint)
