Duwei (毒唯) are a type of Chinese idol fan. The term is translated as "poisonous single fan".[1][2] Single/only/solo fans love only one celebrity.
According to fail_fandomanon, "Duwei are the type to fight anyone they think threatens their idol's image or reputation, often using very ugly tactics and as their name implies, are generally very toxic presences."[3]
According to one explanation on jikipedia, du wei originally referred to fans who loved only one member of a music group and hated the others.[4]
