Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
Canon
Dr. Eggman is an evil roboticist with an I.Q. of 300, which he uses to build robots with which he plans to take over the world.
He was originally named Dr. Eggman in the Japanese release, and Dr. Robotnik in the English localisation. This was later retconned so Robotnik became his legal name in all versions, with Eggman as his nickname.

With the release of the live action films, Dr. Eggman became a target for shippers, with Robotnik/Agent Stone displacing decade-old ships to become the 5th most popular Sonic pairing on AO3.
Outside of the movie continuity, pairings with Eggman are more rare, but there are still some: he is sometimes paired with Katella the Huntress from the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon, Ella from Sonic X, and Vanilla the Rabbit.
