Doug Rattmann is a character from the video game series Portal. He was a scientist at Aperture Science, and was the only scientist to survive the mass killing at the company by GLaDOS. The Rat Dens found throughout the two main Portal games are where he resided, and many fan theories came about due to their contents. His specific fate has been left ambiguous, and fanon and headcanons often relate to his whereabouts.
Rattmann is heavily associated with the lyrics of the song "Exile Vilify", and he is the subject of one of the winning entries of the official music video fan contest.[1][2]
