Donna Troy is a DC Comics character, she was the original Wondergirl, but later adopts the identity of Troia.
Canon
Comics
Donna first appears in The Brave and the Bold #60 (July 1965) as Diana's sister and sidekick. She later was as a member of the Teen Titans along with Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad. Eventually she gave up being Wondergirl in favor of being a more independent heroine in her own right under the new name Troia.
She is usually portrayed as a member of the Titans or with Wonder Woman
Teen Titans Cartoon & Tie-In Comics
In the fifth season of the Teen Titans series, a girl bearing a resemblance to the Donna Troy version of Wonder Girl is seen briefly in episodes "Homecoming, part II" (2005) and "Calling All Titans" (2006). Teen Titans Go! #36 "Troy" (October 2006) issue of the tie-in comics features this version of Wonder Girl as part of the team and is later seen in subsequent issues of the series.
Titans TV Series
In the Titans television series Donna's background is changed, in this version she is an orphan that becomes Diana Prince's foster child, she is then taken to Wonder Woman's homeland to be trained in the ways of the Amazons. She later joins the Titans team.

Donna is a fairly popular character in the DC fandom, although due to her only appearing in the spin-off comics for the popular Teen Titans animated show and the fact that most Teen Titans fans come from the show, her role in the team is often ignored.
Pairings
Donna is a surprisingly less shipped character. She is mostly paired with her on-off boyfriend Roy Harper. Donna Troy/Jason Todd and Donna Troy/Koriand'r despite being rare in a normal fandom sense, are fairly popular when talking about Donna.
